Meet Dr. Joel R. Saper, an experienced neurologist who graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. With internship training from the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center and residency at the University of Michigan Health System, Dr. Saper now serves as a Clinical Professor of Neurology at Michigan State University. His expertise has led to invitations to speak at various institutions globally. He founded the Michigan Headache & Neurological Institute, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which is recognized for its specialized care in treating and researching head pain. Affiliated with Chelsea Hospital, Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals, and Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital, the institute is the nation's first and only nationally accredited center for head pain treatment and research. MHNI is committed to offering educational resources not only to patients and their families but also to healthcare professionals and the community.
