Meet Dr. John A. Kirkland, a seasoned urologist with over 36 years of experience. Dr. Kirkland graduated from the University of North Carolina and completed his Residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine Wake Forest University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and has a diverse range of expertise in general urology, oncology, stone disease, sedation vasectomy, and laparoscopic surgery. Currently practicing at Urology Specialists and affiliated with Atrium Health Pineville, Dr. Kirkland is welcoming new patients and offering telehealth consultations. He is a proud member of the American Urological Association and American Lithotripsy Society, and has served as Chief of Urology at Presbyterian Hospital from 2002 to 2010, as well as Team Urologist for the NFL Carolina Panthers.
