Meet Dr. John B. Malcolm, a certified urologist recognized by the American Board of Urology for his exceptional skills. Dr. Malcolm obtained his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. Following this, he pursued further specialization in urology through a fellowship at Urology of Virginia/Eastern Virginia Medical School.Dr. Malcolm's expertise lies in minimally invasive urological surgeries, including laparoscopic donor nephrectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic prostatectomy, laparoscopic nephrectomy, and nephroureterectomy. He also focuses on endourologic stone procedures, with a particular emphasis on percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for managing complex kidney and ureteral stones.Apart from practicing urology, Dr. Malcolm is an active contributor to the field, presenting research at national urology conferences and contributing to various peer-reviewed medical journals. He holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the American Urologic Association, the Society of Endourology, and the Society of Urologic Oncology.
