Dr. John E. McGarry is one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in Plano, TX. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX, and completed his residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. John completed his sports medicine fellowship at Plano Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, sports medicine orthopedics, knee joint replacements, and general orthopedics. He believes in minimally invasive procedures and uses techniques such as arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs and ACL reconstruction surgeries. Dr. John is also highly trained and experienced in fracture care.
