Dr. John J. Klimkiewicz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in sports medicine and joint replacements. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. John finished his shoulder and Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. John specializes in joint replacement, and he concentrates on all aspects of knee and shoulder surgery. He has expertise in minimally invasive partial knee replacement and mako robotic outpatient total joint replacement. His main interest is in joint preservation. He is presently the head team Physician of the Georgetown University Hoyas and Washington Capitals Hockey Club. Dr. John has also served as an editor for the Journal of shoulder and elbow surgery.
