About JOHN W. BARRINGTON

Dr. John W. Barrington is one of the highly experienced orthopedic surgeons in Plano. He is a co-director of the Joint Replacement Center at Baylor Scott & White Frisco. Dr. John received his Doctor of Medicine from UC Davis, Davis, CA. He completed his residency at the University of North Carolina. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has over 23 years of experience. Dr. John focuses primarily on hip and knee reconstructive surgery. He specializes in using less invasive surgical techniques. Dr. John offers hip surgery using the anterior supine approach, which helps patients recover faster with the least pain possible. He is actively involved in research and surgical techniques. Dr. John is one of the leading speakers and teachers regarding surgical techniques, having taught more surgeons partial knee replacements than any other surgeon in North America.
