Dr. Joy B. Chastain is a well known Dermatologist in Athens, Georgia. In 1997, she earned her M.D. degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. Continuing her medical education at Tulane, she completed an Internal Medicine Internship and the Residency Program in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Chastain holds certification from the American Board of Dermatology and is a distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Since 2001, Dr. Chastain has been practicing Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in Athens, specializing in diagnosing and treating cancers, providing care for chronically sun-damaged skin, offering laser therapies, and conducting cosmetic enhancement procedures with injectable fillers and Botox.
