About JULIANA BASKO-PLLUSKA

Dr. Juliana Basko-Plluska is board-certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. She is accomplished academically, having graduated Suma Cum Laude in the top 1% of her class from U. of Chicago and attended the prestigious Harvard Medical School. While her clinical practice scope is broad, specializing in both medical and cosmetic Dermatology, her interests include melanocytic biology (studying moles and melanoma), prevention and treatment of skin cancer, and autoimmune skin disorders. Dr. Basko-Plluska's Dermatopathology training allows her to gain a more in-depth understanding of the different skin conditions, which leads to a more accurate diagnosis for her patients. She has published several book chapters and peer-reviewed articles and lectured at various national conferences. She also serves as a Clinical Associate at the U. of Chicago, teaching young dermatologists how to best serve their future patients while utilizing cutting-edge technology. She delivers combined compassionate, individualized care at the core of their practicing style.
