With more than 27 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Carter is a highly knowledgeable and skilled general pediatrician who is board-certified in developmental medicine. She received her Medical Education, completed her pediatric training at the prestigious Medical College of Georgia, and completed a developmental medicine fellowship at Emory University. In addition to her impressive medical credentials, she holds a Master's in Education and previously worked as a special education teacher for 14 years. She is passionate about helping children with developmental disabilities and is an active volunteer for Special Olympics Georgia and the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs.
