About KENNETH M. LEE

Dr. Kenneth M Lee is a well-known cardiologist in Washington, DC. After receiving his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Lee completed an internal medicine internship with the Portsmouth Naval Regional Medical Center. He then completed a residency in internal medicine with Bethesda National Naval Medical Center. Following this training, he served as White House Physician to President Ronald Reagan. He completed fellowship in MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Lee concentrates on a partnership process with each patient and their family that stresses the prevention of cardiovascular disease by being proactive about cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cholesterol, and smoking, in addition to addressing ongoing cardiovascular issues. He specializes in visiting patients who are at risk of cardiovascular disease in addition to individuals who have been diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, cardiac rhythm disturbances, heart failure & coronary artery disease, among other cardiovascular conditions. Before joining MedStar, Dr. Lee completed complex procedures like angioplasties and cardiac catheterizations for over 35 years in his private practice. Now, he is passionate about helping patients comprehend their role in their overall health & cardiovascular health & how they can prevent the development of certain cardiovascular diseases.
