About KEVIN J. KEMPF

Meet Dr. Kevin J. Kempf, a seasoned rheumatologist based in San Antonio, TX, with a rich academic background. Dr. Kempf obtained his B.S. in Psychology from Duke University in 1986 before completing his rheumatology fellowship at Scripps Clinic and Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. He graduated in the top 15% of his class at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, in 1991. Throughout his career, he has excelled as the Chief Fellow and recipient of the Tom Waltz Teaching Award. Dr. Kempf also holds the Aequanimitas Award and has served as Chief of Residents. Since 2002, he has been dedicated to private practice, offering comprehensive care for various rheumatoid conditions. Dr. Kempf is esteemed as a fellow member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. Additionally, he serves as a Voluntary Faculty at the Christus Santa Rosa Residency Program and is known for his role as a speaker and educator within the community and medical field on matters related to rheumatology.
