About KEVIN L. GARVIN
Dr. Kevin L Garvin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1982. He finished his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Arkansas in 1987. He further obtained his hip preservation fellowship at the Hospital For Special Surgery in 1988. Dr. Kevin has a special interest in hip and knee reconstruction and has over 21 years of experience. He has maintained an active clinical practice, performing more than 400 primary hip and knee arthroplasties and periacetabular or femoral osteotomies per year. Dr. Kevin also has extensive experience in performing all hip approaches (anterior, anterolateral, transtrochanteric, and posterior). He has published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles and numerous textbook chapters.
