About KEVIN O. GRIFFITHS

Dr. Kevin O. Griffiths is board-certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University before earning his medical degree and master's in public health and health policy and administration at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Griffiths then completed his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship training at the same institution. Currently, he is a partner at Metro Renal Associates in Washington, DC. Dr. Griffiths manages patients who have developed chronic kidney disease and require in-center hemodialysis. He specializes in treating kidney disease patients who prefer home dialysis. Dr. Griffiths is the medical director at Fresenius Kidney Care Southeast DC and Fresenius Kidney Care Southeast Washington. As the medical director for both facilities, he oversees the care and safety of over 160 dialysis patients. Dr. Griffiths gives lectures and seminars on the benefits of home hemodialysis, and his clinical acumen has led to numerous awards. He’s also a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.
