About KY KOBAYASHI

Dr. Ky Kobayashi, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, completed his medical degree at the University of Colorado in Denver. He finished his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington. Dr. Kobayashi extended his expertise by completing a Tufts Combined Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship in Boston, specializing in hand and arm treatments. Until 2014, he served in the United States Air Force and was staff and director of the assistant program for the Wilford Hall Air Force Orthopaedic Residency Program in San Antonio, TX. Now actively involved in research and education at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, Dr. Kobayashi also serves as the team physician for the Air Force Academy Division I sports programs. He presently works as a consultant for the Olympic Training Center.
