Meet Dr. Lamont J. Cardon, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon based in Berkeley, California. Graduating from the Chicago Medical School in 1993, Dr. Cardon completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. Following this, he pursued a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at The CV Starr Hand Surgery Center in New York. Dr. Cardon further honed his skills through Microsurgical training at Ogori Daiichi Hospital and Hirosaki University Hospital in Japan.Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Cardon specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, including microsurgery. Additionally, he holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at UCSF.
