Dr. Lloyd Anderson is a board-certified Neurologist with expertise in Vascular Neurology. He completed his medical education and residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson, followed by a Fellowship in Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease at the same institution. Dr. Anderson has played key roles as a Co-Investigator and Principal Investigator in numerous clinical research trials related to acute stroke management and prevention. He is affiliated with Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital and Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Tucson.A professional member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Stroke Association, Dr. Anderson practices at 551 W. Magee Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704 with Western Neurology, Ltd. At Carondelet Neurological Institute, he serves as the Director of Vascular Neurology, actively interpreting transcranial Doppler studies as a neurosonologist. Additionally, Dr. Anderson is part of the Brain Attack Team at the institute, contributing to the attainment of Primary Stroke Center certification/recertification and offering telestroke services in Southern Arizona.
