About LUCY D. MASTRANDREA MD
Meet Dr. Lucy D. Mastrandrea, a respected Pediatric Endocrinologist based in Buffalo, NY. With a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Manhattan College achieved Summa Cum Laude in 1990, she went on to obtain a PhD in Biochemistry from the University at Buffalo in 1999, and an MD in Medicine from the same institution in 1999. Dr. Mastrandrea completed her fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology in 2005 and her residency in Pediatrics in 2001, followed by a pediatrics internship in 2000, all at the University at Buffalo.Since 2017, she has served as the Medical Director of the Diabetes Center at Oishei Children's Hospital and holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences since 2022. Additionally, Dr. Mastrandrea is the Division Chief of Endocrinology/Diabetes at UBMD Pediatrics.
