About MARTIN FREEMAN

Dr. Martin Freeman is an experienced gastroenterologist in Minneapolis. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School. He completed his fellowship and residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Martin holds board certifications in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He specializes in treating adult patients with pancreatic and biliary cancers. Dr. Martin's clinical interests are in the endoscopic and multidisciplinary management of complex pancreatic and biliary diseases. He is chief of the Division of Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He has published over 30 textbook chapters and 250 peer-reviewed articles. His professional memberships include the American Pancreatic Association and the Hennepin County Medical Society.
