About MATTHEW G. THORSON

Dr. Matthew G. Thorson is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He earned his Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Thorson completed his anesthesiology residency at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He has over 12 years of experience. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the Minnesota Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the International Spine Intervention Society. He has expertise in using stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine to treat many chronic diseases and cancer pain conditions. Dr. Thorson has attended numerous conferences and courses on interventional pain medicine and minimally invasive spine procedures to keep up to date on his patient's best information and technology. He has also spoken at many events on interventional pain issues, legislative issues, and regenerative medicine. He practices at Advanced Spine and Pain Clinics in Minneapolis.
