About MICHAEL A. MIRANDA

Dr. Michael A. Miranda is one of the most experienced orthopedic surgeons in Hartford, Connecticut. He completed his medical education and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Connecticut. He completed his orthopedic trauma fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Miranda is a board-certified physician with over 35 years of experience. He is affiliated with Hartford Hospital and Orthopedic Associates Surgery Center. His interests lie in minimally invasive surgery, including arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, and managing complex fractures. He has given over 200 lectures on orthopedic surgical techniques worldwide. Dr. Miranda practices at Orthopedic Associates of Hartford and also serves as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UConn School of Medicine.
