About MICHAEL SUTTERS
Dr. Michael Sutters, a board-certified nephrologist, specializes in treating hypertension, transplant nephrology, glomerulonephritis, and polycystic kidney disease. His medical training includes studies at prestigious institutions such as Oxford, London, and Cambridge universities in the UK, and he moved to the USA in 1992. Dr. Sutters completed his internship at St. Mary's Hospital in London in 1984 and pursued a Nephrology Fellowship at Kansas University Medical Center and Oregon Health Sciences University. He is affiliated with respected organizations like the American Society of Nephrology and holds a position as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Sutters conducted postdoctoral studies at Yale University School of Medicine and served as an assistant professor of medicine in the nephrology department at Johns Hopkins University before joining Virginia Mason Medical Center. He has published research on human fluid physiology and polycystic kidney disease and is associated with Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Sutters offers video consultation services for patients.
