Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Klavans has held various significant roles, serving as the Department of Surgery's Chairman and the Medical Staff President at Morton Plant Hospital. He has actively participated in multiple hospital committees over the years. Dr. Klavans is a prolific researcher credited with numerous publications. His impactful contributions include bringing Robotic Surgery to Pinellas County, where he conducted the first robotic prostatectomy in the region. His dedication to advancing medical techniques and commitment to patient care have earned him a well-deserved reputation as a leading figure in the field of urology.
