About MOSTAFA EL KHASHAB
Dr. Mostafa El Khashab is a neurosurgeon certified by the European board, bringing vast experience from his work in the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and the Department of Neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center and Palisades Medical Center. Dr. Mostafa El Khashab earned his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt and completed his residency at the Neurosurgical University Hospital in Germany. His specialized areas include epilepsy surgery, endoscopic surgery, neuro-oncology, congenital brain malformations, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and Chiari malformation. Dr. El Khashab and two other doctors created a private initiative to provide medical treatment at a general practitioner level for the impoverished population living in shelters. Dr. Mostafa is certified in Gamma Knife radiosurgery, recognized as the gold standard for stereotactic radiosurgery for brain lesions. He has a keen interest in utilizing frameless stereotaxy navigation techniques for neurosurgeries. Fluent in Arabic, English, French, and German, Dr. Mostafa is a distinguished member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
