About PATRICK J. HOGAN

Meet Dr. Patrick J. Hogan, the esteemed director of Puget Sound Neurology. Dr. Hogan is a distinguished physician who earned his MD from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his internship at the Madigan Healthcare System and residency at the Letterman Army Medical Center. Operating his private practice since 1988, Dr. Hogan is a pioneer in Washington state, being the first neurologist trained in Botox injection therapy for neurological disorders back in 1989. His expertise extends to using Botox, Myobloc, or Dysport (type A) for treating spasticity, hyperhidrosis, migraines, and myofascial pain. Specializing in movement disorders and migraines, he is dedicated to providing integrative care by combining lifestyle interventions with traditional medical treatments. Dr. Hogan is a former president of the Pierce County Medical Society and has received numerous awards for his outstanding community service, including his involvement in the Tobacco-Free Coalition of Washington and support groups for patients with neurological conditions. His Parkinson's treatment program has earned national recognition as a Center of Excellence by the National Parkinson's Foundation.
