About PHILIP J. GOLD

Dr. Philip J. Gold is a renowned board-certified medical oncologist based in Seattle, WA. He earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida in 1991. Following his residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine, he completed a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Washington. Dr. Gold is an expert in clinical investigations of GI tumors, focusing primarily on colorectal cancer treatment. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Research and Program Leader for the Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology Program at the Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, he plays an active role in the NCI Colon Task Force and the Southwest Oncology Group, where he co-chairs the subcommittee for colon cancer.
