About PROFESSOR MARCUS STOODLEY
**Meet Dr. Marcus Stoodley:** Dr. Marcus Stoodley is a highly experienced neurosurgeon who completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, Australia in 1987. After finishing neurosurgery training in Australia, he pursued further specialized training in vascular neurosurgery at Stanford University and the University of Chicago in the United States. He was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1997. Dr. Stoodley currently leads the neurosurgery department at Macquarie University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. His clinical expertise lies in neurovascular surgery, focusing on aneurysms and vascular malformations. With a strong academic background, he has authored over 100 publications, mentored more than 15 research students, and presented at over 70 national and international scientific conferences.
