Dr. Ricardo Hanel is a neurosurgeon who completed his medical school at the Federal University of Parana, Curitiba, and his residency at Hospital Nossa Senhora das Gracas, Curitiba, Parana. He did his internship at Hospital de Clinicas, Brazil. He finished his fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. Dr. Ricardo is the Co-Medical Director of the Cerebral Cavernous Malformations Program at Baptist Health and the Co-Medical Director of the Baptist Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center. Dr. Ricardo specializes in Neurological Surgery and Endovascular Neurosurgery. He is an expert in treating acute stroke and cerebrovascular conditions using ground-breaking endovascular therapy performed from inside the blood vessel. Dr. Ricardo Hanel currently practices at Lyerly Neurosurgery. The center maintains a friendly and clean atmosphere where the patients can feel comfortable while receiving treatment from its expert professionals.
