About ROBERT BENZ

Dr. Robert Benz is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in Fort Collins, Colorado. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1993. Dr. Robert completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California at San Diego. He completed his spine surgery fellowship at Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, in 2000. He has over 30 years of experience. He specializes in Spine Surgery, disc replacement, minimally invasive fusion procedures, adult scoliosis surgery, and back, neck, and spine disorders. Dr. Robert provides comprehensive spine care to his patients. He works closely with non-operative physicians and physical therapists to decrease the need for surgery or optimize his person’s recovery if surgery is needed. He has authored numerous book chapters and journal articles on treating back and neck injuries and conditions.
