About SCOTT L. WOODFIELD

Meet Dr. Scott L. Woodfield, a cardiologist based in Charleston, South Carolina. With roots in Washington, DC, and New York City, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Lehigh University before earning his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1990. Dr. Woodfield completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, then went on to specialized fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease at the George Washington University, and Interventional Cardiology at the Arizona Heart Institute and Columbia Medical Center in Phoenix. Having practiced in Charleston for the past 19 years, Dr. Woodfield is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is diplomate certified by the National Board of Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is an active member of the Medical Society of South Carolina, with a professional focus on General and Interventional Cardiology, as well as Peripheral Vascular Disease.
