Dr. Scott M. Walsman graduated summa cum laude with the highest honors in Biological Sciences and was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. He did his ophthalmology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (formerly UMDNJ) in Newark. DR. Walsman is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Walsman is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology, and The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He specializes in treating Cataracts, Glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. In addition, he specializes in treating advanced anterior segment surgery and cataract surgery.
