About STEVE CHANG

Meet Dr. Steve Chang, a top neurosurgeon at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. Dr. Chang earned his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 2002 and completed a Skull Base Surgery fellowship in 2008 at Barrow Neurological Institute. His training also includes neurosurgery residency, skull base cerebrovascular, and complex spine fellowships. Specializing in Aneurysms, Acoustic neuromas, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Surgery, AVMs, and carotid artery surgery, Dr. Chang has conducted over 4000 surgical procedures spanning cranial and spinal operations. As the author of numerous publications on advanced cranial and spinal techniques, he is a pioneer in developing FDA-approved minimally invasive fusion devices. Dr. Chang serves as the director of Neurosurgical Operations at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Hospital.
