Meet Dr. Steven F. Karner, a highly experienced neurologist at Atrium Health Neurology with over 34 years of practice. Dr. Karner earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City in 1990, followed by completing his Internships and Residencies at the University of Virginia and fellowships in Epilepsy and EEG at the same institution in 1996. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is affiliated with Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Karner is committed to researching innovative treatments for his patients and provides personal attention by taking the time to listen to their concerns.
