Dr. Steven J. Cyr is one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in San Antonio, TX. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, in 1996. Dr. Cyr was selected as the sole fellow for the highly competitive Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical spine surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Dr. Cyr has received extensive training in the delicate science of Spine Surgery. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with vast experience in dedicated spine surgery with over 27 years of experience. Dr. Cyr brought innovative techniques to the military and was the first to perform total disc replacement and endoscopic spinal surgery. Dr. Cyr is a specialist in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He specializes in treating complicated spine conditions. He strives to treat the whole patient from the onset of pain to post-surgical rehabilitation.
