About THE VIVA CENTER
The Viva Center is a mental health center that prioritizes trauma-informed care and specializes in mind-body therapies while adopting a client-centered approach. Their team of therapists is passionately committed to making a positive impact on the lives of their clients. Employing a results-oriented approach, they tailor their services to meet the distinct needs of each individual. The Viva Center is deeply dedicated to providing empathetic support that fosters empowerment. Founded in 2010 by Dr Julie Lopez, Viva was born from a desire to make healing accessible to all. As a trauma survivor who credits her recovery to non-talk-based therapies, Dr. Lopez established the Viva Center to introduce these advanced and highly effective approaches to healing so others could find relief and live more fully. Viva Clinicians are trained in a comprehensive range of therapeutic approaches, which include EMDR, Brainspotting, mindfulness techniques, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and more. This allows you to experience a personalized treatment plan leveraging the power of both non-talk therapy and traditional approaches to help you achieve lasting change. To ensure accessibility and convenience, the Viva Center offers Telehealth appointments, allowing clients to engage in therapy remotely. They believe in the power of human connection and the innate wisdom within each person. Their team comprises passionate individuals who understand the journey of healing from past experiences. Their therapists are licensed to serve individuals throughout Washington, Virginia, and Maryland and can serve many other jurisdictions.
