Meet Dr. Thomas A. Hughes, a highly respected endocrinologist based in Memphis, TN. With a medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis and board certifications in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, and internal medicine, Dr. Hughes boasts over 47 years of experience in the field. Notably, he established the leading Lipid Clinic at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, in 1981. Specializing in a wide array of endocrine-related disorders, Dr. Hughes has played a key role in educating many of the region's practicing endocrinologists. As a member of the Cardiovascular Risk Management Faculty at the American Diabetes Association, Dr. Hughes is dedicated to offering personalized, cutting-edge care to his patients. In 2018, he launched his private practice, Hughes Endocrinology, in Memphis.
