Meet Dr. Thomas S. Loftus, a highly respected neurosurgeon based in Austin, Texas. With a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completing his neurological surgery residency at the University of Missouri, Dr. Loftus furthered his expertise through specialized fellowships. Dr. Loftus is a certified neurological surgeon known for his innovative minimally invasive surgical techniques. He founded the Austin Neurosurgical Institute and holds multiple patents in the field. Dr. Thomas is accomplished in treating various conditions affecting the spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. An active member of prestigious medical associations such as the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and more, his dedication to advancing spine surgery is recognized and respected.
