About WAYNE N. LEIMBACH

Meet Dr. Wayne N. Leimbach, a skilled cardiologist affiliated with the Oklahoma Heart Institute. With board certification in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology, Dr. Leimbach earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics before his fellowship at the same institution. Dr. Leimbach focuses on interventional cardiology, specializing in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention, and peripheral vascular interventions. He serves as the director of Cardiac and Interventional Laboratories and the medical director of Oklahoma Heart Institute Hospital at Hillcrest Medical Center. Additionally, he is a co-founder of the Lipid and Wellness Clinic at Oklahoma Heart Institute.
