About WILLIAM T. COULDWELL

Dr. William T. Couldwell is a distinguished neurosurgeon at the University of Utah Clinical Neurosciences Center. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and completed his Residency in Neurological Surgery at LAC USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Couldwell also pursued a Research Fellowship at Universite De Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland. With notable roles such as being the Director of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and Secretary for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, he currently serves as the President-Elect of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Couldwell has an impressive scholarly record with over 300 peer-reviewed publications and successful acquisition of numerous research grants. He is globally recognized for his expertise in skull base surgery, leading to high demand for his speaking engagements and courses. His clinical interests include surgical management of skull base tumors, neuro-oncology, pituitary tumors, and cerebrovascular neurosurgery.
