About WYCOMBE MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE
Wycombe Medical Acupuncture Clinics are carried out by Dr. Hans Mathew, a fully accredited Medical Acupuncturist (BMAS), who also works as a Chronic Pain Specialist at Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust. He is also a qualified Anaesthetist but retired from his anaesthetic practice in 2021 after a career spanning 33 years. Dr. Mathew's journey into Western Medical Acupuncture was sparked by its role in chronic pain management, which he introduced to the chronic pain clinic at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. He holds full accreditation as a member (DipMedAc) of the British Medical Acupuncture Society and serves on the BMAS Council. With years of experience, Dr. Mathew's primary focus lies in the application of medical acupuncture for chronic pain management and various other conditions responsive to acupuncture.
