About ZAHID HASSAN
Mr. Zahid Hassan is a highly accomplished plastic surgeon with a wealth of experience in his field. He earned his degree from Southampton University in 1996 and has since dedicated two decades to the practice of plastic surgery. His impressive career has seen him work at five prominent medical centres in the United Kingdom. His commitment to advancing the field of plastic surgery is evident through his academic achievements. He pursued further education at Manchester University, earning a higher doctorate (MD) for his research on wound healing. He completed his higher plastic surgical training in the Mersey region, culminating in the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship in Plastic Surgery FRCS(Plast) in 2012. Subsequently, in 2013, he attained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and earned a place on the specialist register for Plastic Surgery. His dedication to excellence in plastic surgery was evident throughout his training. He completed the North West Aesthetic Fellowship in Chester, Liverpool, and the Manchester region, followed by an Advanced Training Fellowship in Hand Surgery at Leeds. In 2014, Mr Hassan was appointed Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgery at Whiston Hospital in Liverpool. His practice covers a wide spectrum of cosmetic surgical procedures, and he possesses a particular expertise in hand surgery, as evidenced by his British Diploma in Hand Surgery earned in 2015.
